Random Hilarity

June 26, 2008

While waiting for the bus today, this hot skater girl passes me, she kinda looks back at me, hops on her board and takes off. A few min later my comes around the corner. After I get on, it rounds the bend, and I see JF get on. He reaks like weed.

I had called JF a few weeks ago wanting to hang out, he had never gotten back to me. So when I see him get on the bus, he sits across from me casually, hot skater girl in tow. Apparently hot skater girl and JF are together. He tells me the day I called him, he had several liters of booze on him, obviously some weed and had spit in a cops face. So he got arrested for assault on a police officer. I laughed my ass off. Funniest shit I had heard all week.

Now when I said reak like weed, i dont mean smell like a lil kush is on him. I mean smell like he runs a goddam grow op. Another funny part about our conversation was that he said he was paranoid about the bus driver changing his CB radio to the police band...

Ghetto Life Twists, Buckle your seatbelt!

June 17, 2008

Station pub nights, angry hookers, street fights, cop chases and enough vodka to lay waste to an entire platoon of thirsty troops. This is the life i lead, and it gets better every weekend.

How about getting punched in the nose by a hooker, getting things confiscated by the cops, and having to walk home? That was a long night. I saw a brawl on the patio of Station pub that night, was 25 feet away. There was an altercation between two people, one of them comes back with aluminum baseball bats. A small riot ensued, the result of which was women screaming, blood trails, and police sirens. It was as close to a war zone I had ever been, but it was gang related. The thing I remember most is this young man, walking away, with a gash on his head, blood trailing down his neck, and his woman chasing him. Where are you going she asked, we have to get you to a fucking hospital. Red and blue lights illuminated the streets that night, windows washed alternating the colors of blood and sky.

Behind darkend, jaded eyes I watched the whole thing go down. And If I would...

Victoria Day Long Weekend

May 16, 2008

Ok I've been meaning to post my impressions about GTA IV, but seeing as how everyones had it for a week already, well, theres really not much point now. Lets just say, it rocks.

Un less you have been on another planet for the last week you will know that this friday is the start of the three day Victoria Day long weekend. The weather is spose to be super nice, so break out the shorts, t-shirts and sandals. Unfortunatly it wont be nice all  three days.

This weekend I will be going on a three day bender, that will start shortly after I post this blog, so most likely I wont be posting anything till mid week next week.

I've been crazy busy with work and school latly so future updates will be more frequent, but shorter and more concise.

Also I will be posting social events and such linking from facebook, and possible updates on future projects.

Hopefully everything will go as planned this weekend. I will be posting a log of the events that will transpire this weekend in my next update.

Hope your May long weekend will be as good as mine.

Movies Music Games and .... Books?

April 1, 2008

Alright I've got alot of ground to cover this week, so I'm gonna start out running.

Just got my hands on a copy of Blade Runner: The Final Cut, and it is fucking lethal. They digitally restored the original, added some scenes along with Dolby 5.1 and enough DVD extras to fill a second disc. Definetly check this out if you're a Blade Runner fan. I'm really getting into Hard-Boiled detective neo-cyberpunk, and Blade Runner has alot in common with the book I'm reading right now, more on that shortly.

As of writing this, I have successfully uploaded my first torrent to the internet. I've been waiting for this new Andy Hunter Album to come out and it seems someone over in the East (presumably the Russians) got their hands on it before it even got released stateside. Once downloaded I didnt waste a second creating a torrent and uploading it to the pirate bay, it can be found here:

http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4112191/Andy_Hunter_-_Colour_(2008)

For those who haven't heard of Andy Hunter, he is a British DJ and composer of Electronic Dance Music. His new album Colour, is his third major release fronted by Nettwerk...

Music Movies Games

February 19, 2008

New Music.

Just downloaded new Morcheeba - dive deep, which is an excellent blend of jazzy techno rock. New music from an artist named sia - also good. A muchly anticipated new Trancemaster - 5009. If you love trance head on down to www.torrentazos.com and run a search for trancemaster. Got the remastered version of the doors essential hits which clocks in above 192 kbps (VBR). I also stumbled upon a little gem named video game hits and remixed Vol. 1 whilst browsing the pirate bay. This great compilation emcompasses music from gaming greats such as Final Fantasy, Halo 2, The Legend of Zelda, Battlefield 1942, Doom 3, Devil May Cry 3 and many more. I've been trying to find some good rap / hip hop that doesnt leave a sour taste in my mouth after listening, so a friend of mine recommended a lil album called El Cartel: The Big boss by Daddy Yankee. I was surprised to be engrossed by the hispanic lyrics and sumptuous beats. I've also picked up the Halo 3 soundtrack which is a must for any Halo 3 player. Ferry Corsten has quickly risen to the higher ranks of my most listened to music,... [More]

Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare

January 14, 2008

So Halo 3 got old really fast and moved on to CoD4. This game features a 10-15 hour single player mode and quite the multiplayer experience. Im gonne skip right ahead to talking about the multiplayer b/c it rocks. 6-18 players Depending on game type, 15 levels, unlimited weapon combinations and lots of other cool features that will keep you busy for hours to come. The thing I really like about this game is the variety of play styles and the ablity to become specialized a certain one.  This game does have RPG elements, similar to a warrior, thief or monk  we have a sniper a heavy gunner or a sub-machine gunner.

Anyways Im really excited about Devil May Cry 4 coming out next month, but im sure cod4 will keep me busy till then.

Ill update on my impressions of Assassins Creed soon.
